Blood Donation Date Calculator
Next eligible donation date, status, and yearly frequency from last date and type.
What it does
Blood donation waits protect donors while supply flows: whole blood every 56 days up to 6 times a year, Power Red every 112 up to 3, platelets every 7 up to 24. The calendar from the last date sets the next chair.
The tool above takes donation type with last date. It returns the eligible date with wait status and yearly frequency beside them.
The default of whole blood on August 1 2026 returns September 26 (56 day rule). Platelets a week ago return eligible now, Power Red waits the full 112.
The intervals follow Red Cross eligibility rules with federal donor regulations matching each frequency. Both cap whole blood at 6 yearly, Power Red at 3, platelets at 24.
